Adventure at St. Mike's...

So yeah... I spent all of yesterday laying in a stretcher at St. Mike's hospital in severe pain and getting pumped full of narcotic pain killers, anti-inflammatories and anti-emetics whilst they stuck me full of needles, and sent me through diagnostic imaging! What was the problem? Weeell, it seems that I either suffered a really nasty ruptured ovarian cyst orrrrr I have a kidney stone that is too small to show up on diagnostic imaging but is big enough to have caused me horrible pain. This morning finds me fighting off the remains of a narcotic hangover (I HATE narcotics, but they were an absolute neccessity yesterday) and I still have some pain, but it is tolerable and not enough to keep me from doing the things I need to do today. I hate it when my body malfunctions so dramatically; the last time it did that was when I was diagnosed with diabetes and that was a while ago. The time before that was when I was fighting cancer. Oh well, this was minor compared to those episodes! Off I go to start my day! :)
